Chone, Ciencia y Tecnología Journal
Chone, Ciencia y Tecnología is an electronic scientific and academic journal published by the Universidad Laica “Eloy Alfaro” de Manabí (ULEAM), Ecuador, specifically through its Chone Extension located in the city of the same name. This is an international journal open to researchers of all nationalities, ethnicities, and beliefs, aimed at sharing experiences and research results across various fields of knowledge covered by the publication.
Publication Frequency
The journal is published semiannually:

Languages: The journal accepts manuscripts in Spanish and English.

Article Submission and Reception
Submissions are accepted continuously. Approved articles will be scheduled for publication according to the Editorial Board’s decisions.
Types of Articles Published
Original Research Articles: Scientific reports presenting original research results, recommended structure: introduction, materials and methods, results, analysis and discussion, conclusions, and references. Maximum length: 25 pages.
Review Articles: Bibliographic studies that collect, analyze, and discuss published information on a topic, ideally following PRISMA methodology. Structure: introduction, development, conclusions, and references.
Essay Articles: Prose texts that explore, analyze, interpret, or evaluate a topic with a reflective and free style, including bibliographic references.
Peer Review Process

Double-blind external peer review for all submissions.

Two reviewers evaluate each manuscript; a third reviewer may be consulted in case of conflicting recommendations.

Originality checks and plagiarism detection via Turnitin and Google.

Authors must make requested revisions within deadlines.

Final acceptance decisions made by the assigned editor and Editorial Board.
Originality and Copyright Transfer Agreement
Authors must sign a document confirming:

It is not submitted simultaneously elsewhere.

Intellectual contribution from all listed authors.
